April 312 A.L. - Military Phase

The sounds of silence dominate the military barracks of all of the cities of Ivalice and Ordalia. Word moves through the countryside that a great cloud of red lightning is emanating from Limberry. However, no one dares move close enough to see what exactly this phenomenon is.

Meanwhile, the normal citizens rest easy in their kingdoms. No invasions take place and peace is kept...for the most part:

- In Fovoham, some shadowy figures are seen sneaking around the ramparts and chased off before they can do any damage.

- The people of Bariaus cry out in despair as they see their belongings taken by officers of the kingdom of the Cerulean Serpent.

- Likewise, the people in Zeakden are demoralized when they see officers representing their kingdom taking possession of citizen held items and money.

April closes with no major fighting. The offensive KT action results are being played out now in the respective Planning Halls. Once the results are finished, and the PTs are rolled, we will change the month to May.

May, 312, A.L. - Civil Phase

April ends with relatively little violence. The Lucavi influence is considered by many to be waning in the west. Many talented officers begin to crop up around the land in hopes of helping the resurgent human powers once again gain dominance in the lands of Ivalice and Ordalia.

Rumor follow-ups are being assigned to staffers to be run, and the threads will open within 24 hours. Likewise for Demon Attacks of those who had travel interrupted.

Late frosts creep into the crops of Riovanes, and completely and utterly ravage them! Riovanes loses 58 Harvest!

In Zeakden, the populace rejoices in the festival hosted by their illustrious leader Lustiva, and honor her accordingly! Zeakden gains 11 Content!

Elsewhere, in Igros, there is a great exodus of merchants from the town, as they move on for better parts, believing that the buffoonery of Verim Rayris has put the final stake through the once proud capital of Gallione's heart. Igros loses 22 Economy!

Outside the city of Lionel, trouble brews, as whatever seemingly escaped from the Guildmaster Vogner's mansion wreaks havoc upon the crops of the city, burning many fields to the ground. Lionel loses 29 Harvest!

In Bariaus, marauding Berserkers from Sweegy raid the city. Penovi cries as his family's past continues to haunt his fledgling kingdom. Bariaus loses 160 Gold!

May 312 A.L. - Military Phase

With the winds of change comes the tides of war. In the central Ivalician city of Dorter, the Hegemony sends troops to the Zeklaus Desert to tame and bring the word of the Victorian gospel to the nomadic tribes there. The hot sandy dunes will be the final resting place for some of these soldiers and the buzzards flying overhead eagerly await the chance of a free meal.

Meanwhile in Lionel, the Crimson Tigers show why they are named such, as Duke Konrad launches a surprise attack against his neighbor, the Amir Poorport. Just before he sent his soldiers northwards, he held an edict that outlawed the Glabadosian Church in Lionel. It seems that the Yudoranists are now on his target list as well.

Defending forces have 24 hours to post up their defences.

In other news:

- Demons are seen flooding the ranks of Limberry from all directions. Their howls and bloodthirsty screams echo throughout the lands surrounding the Lucavi city. Humanity is served notice once more that the legions of the forsaken are rising again.

June, 312, A.L. - Civil Phase

June begins which signals the end of the 2nd quarter of the year. In Bariaus, the forces of Amir Poorport manage to hold the line against the invading Lionel army. Both sides take losses in battle and the rivalry between these two neighbors flares up violently. It seems that Lionel is not the only aggressor as while the battle raged in Bariaus, a covert squad of officers raided Lionel. (See events section for more detail.)

In Zeklaus, the Hegemony of Dorter quickly retreated upon seeing the superior forces of the desert people. Will the Hegemony allow the pagans to continue their rule in Zeklaus much longer? We will have to wait and see.

June 312 A.L. - Military Phase

The summer is almost here, and with the temperatures of the land rising, it seems that the relations between neighboring kingdoms are also becoming hot under the collar. In the west, the tempestuous Lady Lustiva ordered her militant state to organize an attack. The kingdom of Koyla invades Igros! While the kingdom had looked to be using tough diplomacy with Fovoham, it’s clear that the ruler of Zeakden has grand ambitions.

Meanwhile in Vaseria, Lady Romera Asch officially declared war against Kaldemar after detaining its ruler, Lady Kairi Okazaki. The kingdom of Vaseria invades Kaldemar! The people of the Magocratic League now face the daunting task of taking the city which is the symbol of power for the Faran faith. How will the Faran clergy react to this? Time will soon tell…

July, 312, A.L. - Civil Phase

The onset of July brings the harvest and taxes, much to the joy of the kingdom rulers. In Igros, the ancient home of the Beouvles seems to be on the brink of defeat, as the forces of Keilantra Lustiva hold the city in an extended siege. The Igros soldiers got help from the Mandalia Plains, but even with the reinforcements, the situation is grim for the defenders.

In Kaldemar, the Vaserian invasion force fell back and quickly sent a diplomacy party to the Temple in hopes of restoring strained relations over the aggressive incident. Lady Kairi Okazaki also was released by the Vaserians, but found herself without a kingdom as Rhinon Delcourt took advantage of the situation to take rulership himself in a bloodless government switch. With improved status in the Faran Church, Kaldemar looks to be a religious military power once more. But with such a change, not all may be settled in the city.

July 312 A.L. - Military Phase

The firey situation in Southern Ordalia continues to stoke as a month after Vaseria fake invaded Kaldemar, Romera Asch is assassinated by bandits along the road between the two cities. The flag of Kaldemar is found laying on her body and tensions rise to even new levels. Will this situation be diffused? Or will it boil over into another new conflict? So far, the armies remain in place.

In Igros, a daring escape attempt is discovered by the Zeakden military and they capture a ninja of the Quicksilver Eagle Military. At the same time, Zeakden brings in reinforcements to help finish off the besieged defenses. With the amazing Knight Errant hovering overhead, can Igros pull off a miracle? What exactly is the Knight Errant doing there? Time shall soon reveal all...

Tactics for the battle are due to Jar in 24 hours.

August, 312 A.L. - Civil Phase

The month after taxes, kingdoms seem to be reinvigorated - In the northwest, Igros breaks through the siege with Zeakden with help from Mandalia.

However, further east, chaos erupts with several ruler changes! Romera Asch is ambushed and killed on her way back from a diplomatic mission from Kaldemar, and Jude Takerath takes control of the Magocracy! Also, the Hegemony of Dorter undergoes a peaceful transition as Seymour Lorenen disappers on a spiritual journey. The former seminarian, Vladimir Kuzmin, is the new leader of the Victorian kingdom.

Lionel and Barius engage in an uneasy truce, after finding out that the independent group known as The Returners has either allied with them both, or betrayed them both. Either way, Konrad takes charge and forcefully removes them from his kingdom.

August 312 A.L. - Military Phase

Overall, Ivalice and Ordalia find themselves in a period of peace. The battle for Igros continues, but it is obvious that the Zeakden invaders are on the way out. The people of Igros breathe a huge sigh of relief and praise God for the amazing turn of events in the campaign. As the summer begins to kick in it's last sparks of the year, the citizens all throughout Ivalice begin to shout for joy and revel in the respite from fighting, no matter how brief it may be.

September, 312 A.L. - Civil Phase

The autumn begins in earnest in Ivalice. Unfortunately, along with the falling leaves are falling hopes of peace. In Lionel, Duke Dionathan proclaimed a veritable declaration of war against Bariaus. Amir Poorport responded oddly by tacking up responses to cut outs of Duke Dionathan's arguments. In so doing, Amir Poorport accidentily began to counter his own argument. The people in both cities prepare for war as this long lasting feud steps into the next phase of violence.

In the west, Igros is finally lifted of the siege as the last remaining troops from Zeakden leaves the fields of battle. Will these two kingdoms find a truce?

Strange tidings occur in Bethla, as word gets around of a secret society bent on overthrowing the kingdom. Is this new threat viable? Or is it more bark than bite? We'll soon find out.

In Kaldemar, a battalion of troops loyal to Suri gets into formation around the Temple grounds. While they make no hostile move against the city, it is a clear show of power that the church is ready to defend itself if need be.

September 312 A.L. - Military Phase

For the first time in months, Ivalice sees complete peace amongst the human cities. The demons, however, are quite clear in their intentions. Scores of Lucavi are seen in the countryside by Nevelska and Limberry. Yorenai's border guards sound the alarms as a giant unit of demons once more treads the path to the city. Who will meet the challenge that is the growing threat of demonic dominance? This autumn could see the beginnings of the answer.

Meanwhile in Gariland, fate seems to have thrown a curveball to the prophets. No one can fortell the events about to take place there...

October, 312 A.L. - Civil Phase

The sweeping change of time once again takes it's toll on Ivalice. This past month has seen the change in rulership in surprising places such as Kaldemar and Deloro. Alexander Kelly tries to pick up the ruined reputation left by Rhinon Delcourt who was last seen fleeing towards Limberry. Meanwhile Adrien Delos takes charge in Deloro where he hopes to continue the successful development of the city.

In the fort city of Zeakden, a great summit is called by Lady Lustiva to address the situation Ivalice finds itself in. Many rulers have answered the call and began making preparations to travel to the western city. Will the governors find common ground? Many citizens hope so.

All is not well elsewhere. Yorenai falls siege to the demons and without support, it appears that the free city will be the first major human stronghold to fall to the Lucavi in years. Why are the Lucavi so persistant once more to devour the power of humans? Why did they go dormant in the first place? The coming month may soon reveal the answers to these questions.

October 312 A.L. - Military Phase

The fighting in Yorenai intensifies as the demons send reinforcements to press the fight against the humans. The defenders begin to lose hope as all seems lost. But then on the horizon, horns are heard blowing in the wind. Two columns of warriors bearing the flags of Kaldemar travel down the road from the east. The defenders rejoice as they see Alexander Kelly, Lord of the Golden Thorns, leading a formation of defensive reinforcements to help repulse the demon invaders. Word also spreads of troops being dispatched from Vaseria to aid in the conflict, although they are still nearly a month away from being able to arrive. Despite the dark days ahead, this presents a glimmer of hope in Southern Ordalia that shines brightly.

In Evelain, the soldiers of the Sacred Well and the newly formed Flotilla Organization engage in their plans against the Lucavi who plague their region and come from the Nevelska portal. Thankfully, the demons in Bariaus and Lionel have both been dealt with and hopefully this success will be a herald of things to come.

To the west, in Fort Zeakden, the Summit continues but the attendees are privy to events that shock and disturb them. The death of Tariel Graelin is a blow to the Victorian Church and they witness the power of a demon wielding a holy stone. The threat of the Lucavi is now very personal and very real to those who see the attack. Will the nations of Ivalice unite against a common foe? Or will they stand on alone?

Word around Ivalice is that the random monster attacks seem to be slowing to a halt. While the people appreciate the fact that the threat seems to have gone away, they are left feeling a bit insecure. What are the monsters doing if they aren't attacking people? Is some nefarious scheme afoot?

Fighting occurs just outside Deloro, but by the time the local soldiers arrive at the scene, the battle has already concluded. The corpses are human, with some of them robed in black and red, others in grey and blue. There are no markings of identification and all attempts to find out who they were turn up with no answers. The fight took place on an ancient burial ground of Ordalia's legendary warriors who took part in the 50 Years War. Some of the graves have been dug up, but none of the bodies were taken. The local authorities are mystified.

November, 312 A.L. - Civil Phase

The battle of Yorenai takes a surprising conclusion as the demons overwhelm the city gates, smash down the walls, and overrun the defenses before the reinforcements can make any headway against them. The Lucavi begin to fortify the city and even more demons are seen flowing from Limberry to enforce martial law amongst its remaining citizenry. Meanwhile, just to the east, the Kaldemarian and Vaserian forces are seen together, working side by side to fight against the demon threat. This brings great joy to the people of the South Ordalian region and their faith in their leaders raises significantly. [Alexander Kelly +10 repute, Jude Takerath +10 repute, Kaldemar +20 Content, Vaseria +20 Content] The citizens hope this is a sign of things to come.

The Zeakden Summit begins to wrap up after the shock appearance of Duma and Selk's unveiling of a holy stone, which resulted in the death of Tariel Graelin. The rulers seem to agree on finding out more information about the forces who are besieging Evelain, as well as sending some help to them in as timely a manner as possible. The importance of the demon portals is also mentioned. One issue that does disappoint some is the inability to heal the rift between Lionel and Bariaus. The two kingdoms seem to be on a crash course for eventual war.

In Riovanes the people hear a thunderous crash, followed by a minor earthquake. Smoke and ash can be seen rising from the Volcano. Strange green lightning is seen flashing from the clouds.

Ghost activity seems to be increasing along the roads near Poeskas. Travel advisories are issued for the city.
